3 Rooker Stewardship Training
Bird stewards are a vital part to the conservation and protection of beach-nesting species! Join us virtually to learn about Florida's beach-nesting birds and best practices for educating and interacting with the public.

During this training, you'll learn what a bird steward is, what they do, and a bit about the birds you'll be helping. We'll also cover effective tools to use while educating and how to handle any disturbances the birds might encounter. You will also get the opportunity to learn how to help collect vital nesting data while on the beach. Anyone can be a bird steward, so join us live from the comfort of your home to learn how!

This training will be specific to stewardship at 3 Rooker Island of Anclote Key Preserve. Multiple species of shorebirds and seabirds use this island to nest and rest.
