Do you have signs to use to let neighbors know and promote the idea of leave the leaves?

Doesn't mulching with your mower defeat the purchase? You'd be killing the creatures you're trying to help.

Using leaves in my garden one year really increased the acidity. Is info available for acid content of leaves, or rather the degree t o which certain trees affect pH of the soil?

once raked up into a designated area, how can one keep them from blowing back over the yard?

does composting have the same anaerobic process?

Where I live they still burn the leaves. Ahh...

Will leaves left over winter kill grass?

Won’t a layer of leaves get wet and keep oxygen from reaching the base of the plant and promote fungus growth?

Do leaves around plants have to be removed in the spring when we want to add compost?

Should leaves be allowed to decompose for awhile before being applied to planting beds?

What about pine needles? I have more of those than deciduous leaves

What happens after snow piles up on the leaves, melts in the spring, Do you have mold underneath the mattede leaves in the spring?

Is there any concern about left leaves obscuring copperheads in some locations?

Pleawse address the release of methane stat in city-owned leaf piles vs the methane that might bein a home-owned compost pile.

I’d like to reduce my grass area. If I layer leaves over those grassy areas, I expect it will kill the grass. However, I am worried trees will grow then I’ll have weeding to do to keep those trees from growing, especially over sensitive areas like septic drain field.

I understand it is good to mix leaves with wood mulch in your beds. This is what JCRA uses.
